Melvin McDonald of French Valley learned the importance of teamwork, dedication and commitment during his time in the United States Armed Services. Melvin McDonald of French Valley served in the United States Marine Corps from 1988 until 1992, and also served in the Military Police. Melvin McDonald was highly decorated for his service, receiving the Kuwaiti Liberation Medal and the Combat Action Ribbon. He returned home a disabled veteran. Despite being disabled, Melvin McDonald of French Valley is still proud to have served his country. He does not let his disability hold him back, and he continues to serve his country and community as a coach, learning no situation can hold you back from becoming a full person.
This is why American All-Star basketball is a completely free basketball club. All its staff and volunteers work for free seeking just to uplift the kids and the community.
